So, guys, about those inlays.....

Patriot did find a loophole and bring them back by allowing us to order individual letters. Unfortunately, it looks like they may have gotten busted for that, as well:

Has anyone been able to find anywhere else to purchase these? Not too long ago I stripped mine off and repainted the badges. Now I'm without inlays. :o

might try a local place that does vinyl?

i know the legit stores wont mess with copyright stuff but you can do the single letters like patriot used to or just find a kiosk in the mall that makes t-shirts and stuff theyll have no problem grabbing a pic of the web and doing it

I looked on there page less than a month ago and they were available. I went to order them about 5 minutes ago for my 250 and there's nothing up. On my last truck I tried getting a local shop to make them, but had trouble getting the right size letters. I don't mind them trying several times until they get it right, but then they charge for "custom decals". What Patriot Decals was charging a couple buck for will probably be 2-3 times in price. Hopefully I can order the front and rear enblem overlays and get a local shop to cut out Ford for me.

RECON has inlays, but they are only available in 5 colors.

I to just painted my emblems, was going to tape em, cut out the letters and then paint the F-150 but this proved frustrating. got emails out to local shops, waiting for replies. Think I just missed the patriot decal era. Got my oval overlays from them though. hopefully putting it on tonight once the paint dries more. If anyone has any luck please post tem.

why must we live like this inlay'less and overlay'less
its 2010 you would think there would be more sites doing them

and no loc shops would do them beacuse of copyright

i must have spent about 3hrs looking on google

So. I found the recon ones on stylintrucks.com. Looks like recon also offers an LED one, that lights up the F-150.

Otherwise the one they offer in 5 colors is at:

I did find it on the recon website once, but its tricky. customtruckpartsinc.com also carried them, think thats a canadian company though, I go there alot. Just found the link to the recon website that has the F-150 light up ones:

http://www.gorecon.com/product.php?pk=332

I ended up going to a local shop, got the custom FX4 sticker and F-150 inlays, cost some money, 150 bucks. But turned out good. You could also just get the color you want from a local shop, just a blank sheet, stensel the emblem and then cut them out yourself. I considered this.

Figured that would happen eventually, Ford does have a couple people search online for illegal use of their product name, was only a matter of time.
