Which led tailgate light bar?

I've been searching for whats the best and cheapest tailgate light bar to get. I found 2 and i'm not sure which one to get, any advise?

Recon line of fire:

And ledglow:

Or are there any others that would be better? I don't really like the scanning amber lights and i would like to have the white reverse light but I don't know how to wire .

I have the Recon White Lightning. This has Running, Brake, Turn, and Reverse lights.

It came with a 4-Pin flat connector designed to just plug into the truck's trailer plug. I chose to cut the connector off and tap into the factory 7-Pin wire harness at the back of the truck.

I highly recommend the PlasmaGlow Fire & Ice LED taillights. They flash red w/ your turn signal instead of scanning left to right and vice versa and they have the white reverse LEDs too.

How hard is it to wire the reverse light? That is the main problem I have, I have never done any kind of wiring and have no idea how to. Would it be better to take it to someone that knows how to or is it easy enough for me to do it myself?

It's not hard at all. Just slice it directly into the wiring for your reverse lights. If you're not comfortable though then I definitely recommend you have someone who is do it for you. As for going out, I've had mine for 9 months and they're still bright as ever.

Recon White Lightning is awesome. I had one on my previous HD. But when I went to get one for my current HD, they were sold out and I didn't feel like waiting so I bought a Rampage. I'm satisfied with the Rampage but i'll be going back to a Recon White Lightning soon. Simply for the fact that the reverse lights on the Recon are solid white, while the reverse lights on the Rampage are White/Red.

I have the shorter all red LED one for my narrower Flareside, no reverse lights in it, and I really like it. I did offset it slightly to center the LEDs between the sides as doing it by the housing placed them a good quarter inch to far to one side, and the LED is what you see.

I placed mine up against a lip formed in the panel behind the tailgate and from behind, it reflects in part off the step portion of the rear bumper. This is just tail lights, not bright signals or brakes. I just pressed the lock button and shutter together.

As to hook up, I wired in another plug underneath into the wire harness that went to the Ford factory light socket's flat side, just 4 color coded wires. Solder and tape well, trhen wraped with split loom and taped plug to harness. That way I can change out if ever need be and retain flat plug on trailer plug outlet.

I see a lot like the backup light part, I never even knew they had those out.

Thanks for all the help and I have a couple more question is, How much abuse can the recon white lightning take? cause some times I haul gravel so will that hurt or break it or even get to it? And what is a good price for one? I found this one, are there any cheaper?

Recon is about as top of the line as it gets for this product. And 85 bucks sounds about 5 bucks cheaper than you can get it from the recon website. Hands down recon is your best bet.
