Sorry to bring up an old thread...

My question is during the day when our daytime running lights are on, (not the taillights) does the lightbar work the same way as our tail lights, meaning only when it gets dark the lights come on, otherwise (if its light out) they only come on with breaking, turning, or flashers?

 

Yes, they work with the running lights. When it gets dark, they will glow red, and when you brake/turn signal, they will get brighter and all of them will shine.

 

The Recon on the back of my F350 only lasted two years before the truck beat it to death.

correct Big Dog. they will do whatever your tailights do, i fthey come one automatically then they will etc.
