1 piece black grill

Been searching for a 2004 grill due to damage sustained on the highway a few months back that cracked the OEM honeycomb gill and scratched the chrome shroud up fairly good when a large piece of plyboard made impact with the front of my truck. I've been looking at black grills for some time and came up with a front runner. The main reason I prefer this over some of the other black grills is because it's a 1 piece and I need to replace the damaged chrome shroud and this one will do both. My hangup is will the 1 piece constructed design hang up to normal wear and tear of the roads (bugs, rocks, etc.)? My other option is to take the honeycomb out and have the chrome shroud repainted to black and then I would have tons of options as to what grill insert I could go with (saleen, roush and other billet styles with a black tone).

Has anyone purchased this style before off ebay and if so - how long have you had it and is it holding up? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There are several for this grill - ranging in price from 150 to 250 shipped. Search for F150 Black Grill.

Good deal - glad to hear that. Do you have any updated pics with the new grill on?

Thanks for uploading the pics - it goes good with the blacked headlights and front bumper - looks tight.

Is that grill able to separate from the surround that it came with? I am thinking that this is going to be my grill when I get a new one in a few weeks, but I have a DSG FX4 and want my PTM surround with the black inner grill part. Make sense?

I made my own with a Roush grill, painted it flat black. If those grills are removable to the surround they come with that seller will make a killing of sales.
