Lets see some Pics!!!!!

Wanna see some under the hood customization...I am thinking hard of painting or something under the hood. Just curious to see what some of you have done.

id like to paint some stuff under the hood..but mines gets to dirty..and stays that way

good thread im looking forward to seeing some!!! i think phil has everyone beat!!!!

True. A Supercharger does help dress the engine bay yup along with add some nice boost to the rear wheels. But with a simple CAI on a regular truck I just dont see it really worth it. But thats only my input

well no i dont either..but some people (ricers) are into that stuff haha kidding..no offense to anyone thats painted it up a bit under the hood

Well, I guess it don't make a lot of sense to do it either, but then again, it don't make a lot of sense to paint the under carriage, but I will probably do some of that too...


Come on, lets see some!!

my undercarriage is still good..no reason to paint that..the only thing i will paint is my bed caps/wiper cowl to bring it back to black instead of gray

why not paint it? If your bored go ahead and dress it up a bit. Minor details will make the truck stand out so much more. Its like when you see truck with ptm door handles/mirrors compared to the ugly plastic. Makes the truck look better.

The only things I would even think of painting would be the throttle body cover, if you have one. Everything else looks too ricer to me.

Damn guys, I just wanted to see some custom work, Didn't think I would cause chaos between a bunch of guys who drive the same trucks!

If I'd customize something under the hood, I'd go for something useful, like maybe adding another under hood light or something.

Anyone know how well LEDs hold up to engine temps?

Campo141: Try looking at chickenears.com...they've got a lot of underhood chrome. Search for Gatorcrew on this site, his underhood looks amazing
