plastidip??

Has anyone heard of this stuff. My friend who owns a ram told me a ton of guys are using it on his forum to paint their wheels and grills and stuff. I heard it kinda looks like matte black paint and I look at some pics on google and it looks pretty good. I was thinking about using it for my wheels instead of duplicolor and other things because it doesnt require all of the prep work. Thoughts??

I have seen people use it on tools like handles of pliers and wrenches...i don't see how it would work on wheels but I have been wrong before..interesting

Its a spray, so you should have no trouble getting it to work. And I heard it lays down nicely on almost anything...even without proper prep. Let us know how they turn out.

Directly off their website: Plasti Dip is a multi-purpose air dry, synthetic rubber coating that can be easily applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. Plasti Dip resists moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not become brittle or crack in extreme weather conditions; -30°F to 200°F. Available in 7.25-oz Can, 11-oz Aerosol, 14.5-oz Can. Large containers of Plasti Dip are available for industrial use. Learn more about them in our industrial specialty coatings section.

It seems like pretty reliable stuff and from all of the pictures I've seen, it looks good like a matte black paint and durable..all I have heard is positive feedback.
