New projector heads and fogs
New projector heads and fogs
Here are some pics of my truck with the halo projector heads and fogs and new grille. I'm going to move the lights behind my grille inboard some, I had them there when I had the H-bar grille on. I also took an old honeycomb grille from a crown vic and cut it up to fit in the area in the bumper that was open. Tell me what you think.

I don't usually like the aftermarket type headlights but those are nice. You got a lot going on down low with the honeycomb, extra emblem and I am not sure about the round fogs in the square hole but overall the fit and finish looks well done.
Hmmm, I was thinking the fogs would sit recessed a bit. Not sure I like how the bulb/lens sticks out so much.
I do like the heads though. I assume in inner clear part is the turn signal? Any way to open the heads to remove the reflector or make it black?

I'm with you guys on the fogs sticking out. They are the only ones I could find that had the projectors in them. I didn't really like modifying my bumper to make them fit but I needed the projectors for the HIDs. It has since grown on me a little and I'm digging it a little more each day. The reason I put the emblem in the lower is I didn't want to modify the grille or the emblem to make it fit there and I didn't want to lose it altogether.
Yeah it's the turn, the lights do have metal clips that secure the lens but I'm not about to open them up, I'm afraid they'd leak on me and that's the last thing I want.

I debated and debated on whether or not to by those headlights I like them a lot just went with painted stockers instead. How does the HIDs look through those headlights? I wish the turn signal lense was clear thats one reason it turned me away from them. All in all the front end looks pretty good I agree about the fogs sticking out I was a little bit surprised about that.... sweet bull bar though what brand is that???

Are all the stock bulbs used with these lights? I know some aftermarket lights like that use a different than factory bulb.
I've already bought HID's hi/lows and chrome bulbs for the signals, so I'm hoping it uses the factory size bulbs in each spot. I've been looking at these for awhile, but can't seem to get an answer on the bulb part so I've never pulled the trigger.
If they use the factory size/part for the bulb, and it can be confirmed, count me in!

The headlights look good but I'm not too fond of the fog lights simply because they stick out so much.
I think he's wanting to know what bulb size those aftermarket lights require. He's already got an aftermarket HID kit in his factory housing and doesn't want to get those lights if he'll have to order new HID bulbs.
Judging from past experience my guess is that the aftermarket light uses something like an H10 bulb.

Sorry should have clarified a bit better. I am looking for what bulb type fits in the new housings. I have already bought the aftermarket HID for the stock lights, the 9006, and wanted to confirm that these headlights will use the same ones. No use if I 've gotta drop the money on another HID kit just for headlights.
Thanks

Why did you go with 9006? The replacement guide I'm looking at calls for H13 (9008) bulbs for the headlights. The 9006 looks more like a fog light than headlight.

The projector headlights do take H13 headlight bulbs, and the stock turn and side marker bulbs. The turn signal lens IS clear it just has some facets cut into it to disperse the light. The fogs are a different story, I had ordered the stock HID kit (H10) and the new projector takes a H7.
It's a hunter bull bar. They've actually lowered their price, it was 149 when I bought it.
