lol and it also looks like you have the same rims as a guy i work with, only he has an 08 silverado. wow thats just odd that you have both of them on your truck. how much were your headlights? i paid $140 but i also had to seal them with silicone. the drivers side one fogged up and after about 2 weeks i finally got sick of it and i ended up having to drill a hole in the lense to get the 2-3 tablespoons of water that was in it. but i gotta say, you are the only other person ive seen with the same headlights. how did you wire up the halos? i put mine on a toggle switch that is mounted to the left of the headlight switch.

9006 are single-filament headlight bulbs meant for dual-light applications in lowbeam housings, most of the time they are paired with 9005s for the highs. The 90-degree angle is for cars with tight housings and the wires come up from underneath- Mazdas, Toyotas, etc.

Why did you go with 9006? The replacement guide I'm looking at calls for H13 (9008) bulbs for the headlights. The 9006 looks more like a fog light than headlight.

Typo. I was extremely tired last night sorry Glad to hear the stock lights fit though! Adding it to the mod list

That's one of the things I'm worried about when using eBay headlights. I've never had any issues with my HD heads, maybe I can figure out a way to cannibalize the eBay heads and stick the projectors into my HDs. Hmmmmm.....

I do like the heads though. I assume in inner clear part is the turn signal? Any way to open the heads to remove the reflector or make it black?

i'll have to agree, the fogs should have set flush with the comb or at least the surrounding valance.

I wouldn't call it a conversion, they simply plug right in. More considerate people will use the bulb with the coated tip to reduce glare. That's what I had in my fogs before I went HID, but my point remains the same. That style of bulb is for our fog lights, not headlights.

I love the bull bar, I didn't want a westin or a lookalike because they have their name plastered on it. This was the only one I could find that didn't have that. Quality is good. and the powdercoat is TOUGH!

I wired them to my parklights, same with the halo's on the fogs. I sealed up the other ebay headlights I got too, I had them on for 9 months and no leaks so that's what I did with these.

I'm liking the lights a lot. That emblem really does look out of place IMO. The only thing that really matters is that you like it though. I do like the way the fogs stick out a bit, definitely something different.

i think they look 100x better without any other lights on, plus they are illegal so its nice to be able to turn them off when i dont want them on.
also with the toggle switch, it limits the amount of time they are lit. being hooked up to your parking lights will make them stop working earlier. also with the toggle switch you can leave them on for hours and not have an effect on the battery. i had mine on for 8 hrs and truck started up like normal.

plus i have an awesome idea for my truck that will match my halos. i was looking at those foglights about a month ago that you have but mine doesnt have fog lights so IMO it would look weird on my truck. but the idea i have is just plain sweet. when i get the money to do it, i will have to do it and post pics. might take a little while tho. got other things to pay first... but i dont think anyone has ever done this, at least that i have seen anywhere..

I'm like you, I don't want to lose the tow hooks on my Platinum either. That looks like an awesome push bar and more rugged than those 'decorative' Weston bars. Looks like you could actually push something with this one. Would be nice to see one with tow hooks integrated into it and also maybe a winch bracket or front receiver to put a portable winch into.
