I'm at the dealer talking to a random guy in the waiting lounge about doing the Gott's mod. I feel like I'm spreading the word...

Edit:

I don't feel like making more posts, it makes me feel like I'm talking to myself.. Anyway I just got the BFG's on. The sidewalls are a little shorter than the Generals, but hopefully that will prevent any rubbing issues with the drop kit. I'll get some pictures up ASAP, but I'm going to go clean the wheels first.

5 years, 2 months (and close to the day) and I'm in the garage finally getting dropped. So far the only issue has been getting a replacement nut and bolt for the front left leaf spring. The gas tank was installed after the leaf spring so the options are drop the tank to get the bolt out, or cut it off and replace with the new bolt, installing the bolt backwards. I have pictures of the packaging in case anyone else would need the Ford part numbers.

...and just for fun my mechanic's Lightning

I'll post more pictures as it happens!

I don't think that he's around here much anymore but just in case he is, thanks again to jsvo for the parts!

Well there it is, 5 years later and finally joining the lowered club.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty happy with it. I'll get some better pictures up soon, I took those pretty quickly before it got dark. Wheels next I'm thinking... Hopefully that won't take another 5 years! haha...

Quick P-Chop of what's next:

Thanks again everybody!

Just a quick little update. So I tried to get the adhesive off the fenders from the Saleen vents. That's been more of a headache than I was planning.

The first adhesive remover not only didn't really work, but it oxidized/removed a little paint (Great...). I'll be writing more about that later when I can mention the product by name in order to give a better warning. Anyway a buddy of mine who works as a detailer at the local Honda dealer helped me get the rest off.

Other than that I installed my painted rear Ford badge that I bought from Lifted5.4Lariat.

So I'll let the pictures explain..

IMG_1033.jpg?t=1349823485

IMG_1037.jpg?t=1349823656

...and Just for fun...

IMG_1026.jpg?t=1349823191

IMG_0988.jpg?t=1349822772

So at this point I'm thinking 09+ Badges to cover up the holes? I'd much prefer the shaved look, but I'm thinking that badges are more affordable on my budget at this point...

That being said I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any! Thanks!!
