Chrome or PTM

What do you all think looks better, a small amount of chrome or total PTM everything?

A small amount of chrome won't hurt, but PTM always looks great.

depends on the look your going for , post some pics , cant tell ya much from the sig.

i 've had both , chrome and PTM , too much of one can ruin the look

why not both

pic 1 + 2 = 3

I'd get the bumper with the round foglight holes, ptm or chrome - either would look good...I'd get the black headlights (hd style - or you could paint them) and leave the rear end alone...i think it looks pretty good the way it is. O yeah, and some chrome 20's - i think the ones the f150 limited's came with would look good. and so would the 20" king ranch/fx4/lariat wheels.

Yeah, I was going to lose the steps after it got lowered. As for the bumpers, sounds like I need to go to the mall with my tools . What about wiring up the fog lights? Are they plug and play or do I have to splice wires and all that other BS?

I put the chrome handle and tailgate covers on my Bright Red 09 XLT. Full chrome, not just the handles I think the chrome looks great with the chrome bumpers, stainless step bars and the big chrome grille. Actually, my truck looks very similar to yours other than it being a 09 and not a flareside. Even my wife who normally asks why I would do anything like that thinks it looks great and told me the other day she's been noticing other red F150s and how much better mine looks with the chrome.

With chrome I think it depends on the color, and how much you add. But I think PTM would look great as well. And in the end its personal opinion and what I think looks good might look terrible to someone else and vice-versa.

I had the chrome handle covers and mirror caps on mine when I bought it and couldn't stand them. The first thing I did was peel all that stuff off.

i think it would look great if you ptm'd the bumpers. just don't go overboard with the ptm and you will be good. i like the grill too. and also, i am partial to the red and chrome!

i would check out ebay , i go would go for a chrome one b/c there is usually alot more floating around and they are usually cheaper. and just have the chrome one poweder coated to match your paint, powder coat is usually cheaper than paint and do the rear bumper too, should cost around $300 to powder coat both your bumpers
