i ve had the Rvinyl tint on my tail lights for awhile , and im not feeling the look anymore. i love the amount of tint but i didn't do the best job of putting it on , so there are some imperfections that are bothering me. instead of re-doing the tint film i want to do it right and replace the tails

im thinking Harley or the smoked recon tails

heres my pros/cons

Harleys - looks sweet , like the oem look , like the price

Recon- look awesome , 3x as much as harley's price wise , they are a little on the dark side for me , i dont need anymore attention from the 5-0 lol, but im sure thats where the leds come in

what to do ????

 

Could give the recons a try. I dont normally suggest non OEM lights but those actually look decent.

idk if its the sun light or not , but they don't appear that dark

 

them look badass, they would look real good with your black truck

 

i really do like the recons , but them seem a lil ricey to me . i think im leaning towards the Harley's

harleys about $100

Recon tails/3rd brake light $300

 

I like the Recons. Personally for an LED I think they look the cleanest of the LED lights. (I am not too big on the bulge in the Hellas.)

 

i think the recons would look real good, but now that i look i think the harleys would go better with the headlights, i think it would flow better, if that makes sence

 

APC made a set that looked oem but LED. They were real nice. Tey may have stopped making them though.

 

I had the Harley tails at one point. They weren't dark enough for me. Honestly they didn't look that much darker than stock. I think that even though you're wanting to avoid trouble from the law you'd still want to go darker.

go with the harleys, to much darker and i think it would look stupid.

 

I like the recons, but they are a bit pricey.

 

why not go with the harleys and run LED bulbs? Still should end up being alot cheaper than the recons
