Silver stars

I installed a set of these shortly after buying my truck in 2006. Here in Canada our lights are on all the time and I'm wondering if these lamps lose some of their strength over time? Or do they maintain the same brilliance till they burn out?
Thanks FS

All bulbs lose a little of their powerful glow after a few years use.

i personally won't buy silverstars anymore, they cost too much and haven't last me no longer than a year ever. i buy eurodezigns off ebay, much brighter and have a lifetime warranty.

I personally have run them on almost half a dozen cars in the past few years - many friends have as well. Not one complaint (besides maybe price). But, as Darren stated, NO bulb is going to be bright like it was straight out of the box after a few years. Granted, it really makes no sense in switching them out every year as the difference really is/should be minimal.

I've had my heads and fogs in since may. So far so good. I wouldn't say that they're any brighter than the stock bulbs. They do give off a nice white light though.

I have Ultras in my headlights, but I am only keeping them until I get HIDs.

Silverstars are quality, and compared to my stock ones, they increased output by 15%. However, nothing compares to HIDs
