How to remove badges?
what is the best/easiest way to remove the badges? i want to acetone them but am kind of scared even with it all taped off and everything. so i figured it may save an accident if i were to just remove them. and if there is any tricks to put them back on. anything would help! Thanks alot
wait until a nice warm day (or do it in a warm garage) and use a heat gun or hair dryer and keep the badges warm (have someone keep the gun aimed on them) and use fishing string and twist it around another piece and begin "sawing" back and forth. there are two pins keeping the badges aligned, so once you get to them, you have to be careful and use a knife to cut away the sticky tape in the middle
that said, once you remove the badges, they wont be going back one unless you have new backing tape for them

Pulling the old ones off:

As you can see, the bonding glue is gone. There are THREE holes are there to ensure the badges are aligned on both sides evenly. Personally I would leave them on and acetone, with HEAVY masking off, or do a badge swap:
Before and during
