My XenonLink Kit Is INSTALLED!!!

Some of you have been following my XenonLink thread that I started after my order.

Here is my "Official Review" of Will's product.

First off, shipping was VERY fast, got my order in two days! Everything seemed to be packaged very well and the components all seemed to be very good quality...not that im any expert on the matter.

So, I found some time at work to pull my truck in the shop where its NOT 8 degrees, its a very nice 70 degrees and dry!

Laid everything out and using the wiring schematic I printed from http://www.hid-light.com/install/install.html which was the link that was printed on the enclosed wiring diagram. The enclosed diagram shows just the simple wiring for not using a harness, my kit came with an included harness and the diagram I got from the link showed everything very clearly.

Once I began, I soon realized that the most difficult part of the installation was going to be finding a good spot for the ballasts. Once the ballasts were mounted, it was truly Plug-and-Play.

I first connected all the appropriate plugs and hooked the HID's up externally to ensure everything worked properly...IT DID! The lights lit right up and warmed up to be VERY bright...VERY PLEASED!!! Upon switching on the brights, the bulbs actually move to adjust the HID light upward, VERY KOOL!

So, BEFORE PIC, obviously in a lit up shop is not the ideal place to show em off, but it'll do for now:

And AFTER, please note that YES they are bright, but are not washed out at all in person like the picture shows:

Im am seriously very pleased. All info from Will was very accurate and the kit goes in very easy...just plug and play! Great product thus far and ill keep everyone updated as time goes on.

Night pics to come later tonight.

krusedisc,
I am very happy that you liked our product and thank you for your review.
Regarding your free kit, I couldn't ship it out in time today. I'll have it shipped next Tuesday. I know I've told you I'll send it latest Monday. But I just realized that we are off on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Day.

i have an issue and i hope you could help me. i ordered my fog lights about a week and a half ago, just got them. they should have been plug and play but they are not, i have the right stuff on my headlights for this but i still have stock ballasts on my fogs. i was told this would be okay.

this will not work for me unless i were to run new relays and stuff... i was told i did not need to and they would plug and play.

William here is my review of your H13 Bi Xenon kit. I did have a problem with one bulbs motor not wanting to work. I will call you on Tuesday I am sure it is something I did. Either way great kit and I am glad to have purchased from you. I would gladly do it again and I am sure I will be back for any and all of my HID needs.

My Review/Helpfull install links

Review:
All right guys the HID's arrived and are installed.

Everything arrived in great shape and was packaged very nicely. The instructions were included in the box as well as on the web. The kit is made of high quailtiy parts and the ballasts feel like they are built to last. I ordered them late monday and they shipped that very same day. For initial out of box appeal and shipping I give a 5 out of 5.

The install was very straight forward and the worst part of it was finding a place to install the ballasts and yet have enough reach with the harness to get to them. I have found a perfect spot for them and will get a picture of them as soon as I can find my cameras battery charger. I would give the kit a 4 out of 5 for ease of install. I would like to see about a foot added to the harness our trucks have big engine bays and we need more wire to cross it. I would also like to see the ballast brackets be a little bit stronger. But those are only nit picking things I would not let it make or break the deal on these great HID's.

I do have some stock pictures of the lighting but I do not have any of the HID's yet. I am waiting for dark so I can really show these lights off. But I can say they are a TON brighter then the stock bulbs. I am really excited, and the truck looks a billion times better. Thanks XenonLinks, and thanks william. I can gladly say I will refer you to anyone who is looking for HID's.

My Review of Xenon's prodcuts

My "Review" of Xenonlink & their product.

Well, i came upon this thread thinking " hey, another site sponsor trying to get people to buy their product." Well thats true and all but William takes that to another level.

When i called him order my kit, i had a few questions regarding H.I.D.s' and he was quickly to answer then knowledgeably. I placed my order with him on a Wensday afternoon and by that night my payment was clear and shipped out. I was blown away at how fast he was to ship it. My order (9007 bi-xenon's) was at my door by Friday afternoon.

When i went to open it it had an extreme abundance of packaging around the kit, so if it was bumped or lightly dropped in shipping it doesn't look like it would hurt anything in the box. My kit came with the Relay hook up and everything was straight forward plug and play. This is almost as easy as changing oil to install . (At the moment my ballasts are just zip tied up since it was -5 degrees for the high today, and i didn't want to freeze.)

Overall the kit was everything i expected it to be, and driving with the lights are a night and day difference compared to the Silverstar's i had in the truck before, the light that the H.I.D.'s throw out is the same pattern and shape as the silverstars but a heck of a lot brighter. The way the Bi-xenon bulbs move for highs and low is extremely nice.

THE ONLY downfall i have with the kit is when you go to flash your highs, the bulbs stay in high mode until you click the multifunction switch to high then to low again. But again, thats the ONLY downfall with the entire process from calling William to driving with them.

I WILL be ordering more for the other vehicles my parents own. I WILL be recommending William and his company to anyone looking to purchase a set of these lights for their vehicle. Ive bought things off eBay, and other websites before, and then dealing with William, completely tops all of them for easy of purchase and quick response times.

That's correct, you'll need ballast for each HID bulb in order to work. If you have the time and if it's not too much trouble you can unplug your headlights ballast and plug it into your fogs. Your fogs should light up.

Link to my review thread
And it's contents:

I called William (XenonLink) on Monday, January 12th. After a brief talk I had ordered the 9007 6000k Bixenon kit for $135 with free shipping. I ordered too late in the day for it to be shipped so it shipped out Tuesday USPS. I received my kit on Saturday, January 17th. Upon receiving the kit, I proceeded to open the USPS box to find what seemed like an unecessary amount of packing material but that's just fine with me. Inside the USPS box was the Relay and another box with the kit in it. Everything was packaged very neatly. So I set off to install them today. The hardest part was definitely finding a place to mount the ballasts. I ended up removing my washer fluid tank and coolant reservoir so I could fit a drill in to mount the brackets for the ballasts. The brackets aren't realy impressive. The ballasts sit a little loose in them and they can easily slide out of the ballasts. There is an adhesive tape of some sort included that I used to help hold the ballast in the bracket. I have no idea if that's what it's for though. When I was pushing a plug into the ballast, I wasn't holding the other side and I actually forced it out of the bottom of the bracket. To me that isn't a big deal as I already stated I used the adhesive to hold it in. After that, it was just a matter of running the wires. Everything is plug and play and all the plugs are idiot proof meaning unless you really set out to do so, you can't plug them in the wrong place. The only thing not plug and play is the wire that runs to the positive battery terminal and the ground wire. Done. They are very bright. The pictures don't capture them very well at all but I tried. Prior to these I had Sylvania Silverstars. I haven't gotten the chance to drive with them at night yet. Pictures are in the shop at work with all lights off and all major traces of light blocked off by tape and cardboard. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and I would not hesitate to purchase from William and Xenon Link again in the future. Everything worked as described. High beams and all. Which by the way, they adjust instantly if anyone was wondering. I was wondering myself how fast the motors would adjust the light since I didn't know anything about HIDs prior to this experience.

Yes, there's still one last spot open for the buy 1 get 1 free.
Unfortunately, we don't have 4300K for Bi-Xenon. Due to unpopular demand we didn't stock 4300K for Bi-Xenon. We do have 4300K for single beam and regular Hi/Lo.
Since, the buy 1 get 1 free is still available you could buy the headlight and get the free kit as fog light to match your headlights.
I can be reached at 866-857-0005 ask for William.
