Painting 2004 Fogs.
OK, taped and painted, letting dry. Tomorrow I seal. Thursday I install.
I had to order two BCA assemblies from Domenic at Tasca and I will eventually have to wire them up to a switch. For now I'm just happy the holes in my bumper will be filled.

Boogered up some of the paint when peeling off the tape, so I touched it up a bit with a q-tip and a puddle of paint. Looks OK. I'm going to let it dry and seal it up tomorrow after a little fingerprint cleaning.
Didn't notice the thread was back. Awesome Stealth. So the project is going smoothly for you so far? That reflective backing chrome is so cheap and easy to screw it. Before I masked I layed each strip of tape on a cotton shirt and peeled it off to the point it was hardly adherable, from then on the un-peeling was very smooth and careful. After clay baring the lenses ( surprised how dirty mine were ) and going heavy on the black sealant around the fogs I was very happy with the outcome of the project. They still look great after the bitter winter and random temperature changes.
Look forward to your finished results and updates.

Yeah, I used paper and tape on the very edge, so I didn't screw up much chrome. Just when I peeled the tape some paintr came up, so I touched it up freehand. It'll look allright. Only a very tiny ammount of chrome came off.
