You gotta paint them. The output has not changed at all noticeably. They look just as bright as before. I'll get some photos soon.

not long, the fogs pop apart pretty easy!!! like 5 mins max i'd say and you should be able to get em apart em.
way way easier than the headlights!!!
just remember, DO NOT smoosh the tape down onto the part you want to keep chrome, just barely lay it on there.

i didnt , last time i tried to remove the bracket off , i stripped a few screws and wound up using a dremel to take them off

yeah i remember wiping mine down with simple green or windex and if you rub hard enough the chrome comes off

i know... im bout to just buy two more and do it again. i have had both of mine blow bulbs a couple time, there is a vent hole above the bulb and mine has had water drip down onto the bulbs and shatter them. then you gotta open em up again and do it all over. my chrome is really taking a beating.
its worth all the work though cuz they look super sharp when they are right.
