New Small Mod

Hey all,

In addition to new tires and wheels put on this past Saturday (I have those pics up in the Wheels and Tires section), I also had a Carriage Works lower bumper grill put on to try and match my FX2 grill. What do you think??

Thumbs up

The grille really cleans the front end up. The wheels look great as well. I am a big fan the the monsters. Looks good not over done.

Thanks guys! I loved the Monsters the first time I saw them. I also like "not" running a front license plate. I like the cleaner look.

How are you getting away with no license plate?

Na, look doesn't flow with the truck. I say take that crap grill off....

and send it over to me !

Truck looks good man, I agree, that little add-on really makes a difference and cleans that front end up nicely.

Nice clean look for sure.

Glad I live in PA where we don't have a front plate.

Just keep your plate and bracket in the truck, and if you get pulled over, say it just fell off a couple minutes ago.........

That looks good, where did you get that by the way? I have been looking into a lower grille for my FX2.

Some states don't require them. Where I live in AZ nobody has front license plates.

I live close to the OP and VA DOES require a front license plate. I wouldn't have one either if it wasn't illegal. I just don't want to be pulled over for it because then it turns into an exhaust ticket or some bs also. There are soo many Fairfax County police around. I had two on my tail last night in the stang I did get a long stare from an officer passing me going the other way when I was in my truck yesterday. I think he was just doing one of these

Haha I got one of those once. I was going down a dark country road one night with my g/f in the pax seat and I noticed a car gaining on me. He got real close and when I looked at his lights, I noticed it was lights of a Crown Vic. I knew he was running my plates. So I continue on down the road and pull into a gas station, as does he. As we go inside and I get a slushie, he grabs a coffee next to me and I turn to him and ask: "It wasn't stolen, was it?" and he's like: "Oh, are you the fella in the white truck? Nah, but I did like that light bar underneath the tailgate"

He was driving one of the unmarked maroon Mercury Marauders with those sexy 5-spoke chrome wheels. I saw him light up somebody once and I swear he has more hidden LEDs than a christmas tree!
