i used a hair dryer to heat up the glue then, used my finger nail to start it, then used a credit card to take it off in one piece

There's really no trick to it.. It's cake..Get a heat gun, set it to low, skim over the sticker for a bit. Then start peeling away a corner and use the heat gun again if needed during the process, it will pull off with no glue residue or anything..Wax over it after it cools down, BINGO your done. Get that Tacky sticker OFF.

I would use a blowdryer not a heat gun. blowerdryers blow around 200* and a heat gun blows 1000-2000* Way overkill, and more risk of damaging the paint.

Very carefully use your finger nails to start it, then peel it back and just pinch the corner and pull it off slowly.

^^^^ that's all I did. I was just looking at the truck on day and decided I didn't like them and walked over and peeled them both off....done.

I must have the cheepo brand. My heat guns only 700-920
I skimed over it for about 20 seconds...no hotter than it sitting in the sun on an august day and it pealed right off..no paint damage at all..

yea, i did the same with the sun baking techique.. lol.. just park it out in the sun for a couple hours or whatever and it will come right off..

btw.. if your looking for some new decals, check out patriotdecals.com.. they have some awesome color options and can make you just about whatever you need.. might wanna wait on peeling your decals tho, so youll know exactly where to put new ones..

i put a custom FX4 Blackout decal on mine.. flat black, with dark shadow grey outline
