how to paint blue ovals?

how to paint blue ovals?

i was wanting to paint my ovals black... wasnt sure on how to get them off the tail gate and grill to paint... does anyone have pics on how to do ? thanx

you could go to patriotdecals.com.........if you are set on painting however....use fishing line or wire and patience....work it like a saw and i will come right off...thats how i did all of mine....the grill one is bolted ...or on my body is it.....why not just mask and paint?

i believe the 04-08's they are bolted onto the tailgate as well, i could be wrong but pull the panel off of the tailgate and have a look inside, wouldnt want to try to pry it off with a couple nuts on the back of it

lol figured that was what you would do.....i have never seen them or owned any but eveyone says they hold up GREAT....i wanna see pics when you get em!!!

Your best off with decal overlays.

I did patriot decal tonight actually

Its not 100% perfect match, but looks pretty good





Oh and my front emblem is gone :-)

great job and congrats!!! tell me how they hold up over time...i painted all of mine black and red and everyone always asks me where i ordered them from they look so good
