Ghetto HD grille. would it work?

i have a roush chrome over plastic right now. i bought it b/c i couldn't pass up the deal on them, but i've always wanted a HD grille. after a couple of beers the other night i was looking at my grille and had an idea. if i was to use a dremel and cut out every other bar, would it look stupid? the HD grille has six bars and the roush has 12, so i think it would work. right now, the roush grille is the only chrome i have on my black truck and i think all that chrome looks out of place. thoughts?

Let Me have a Few BEERS and think about it...

Seriously: If you've got the cassh for the HD Grill
Give cutting every other bar on yours a shot...
If it looks GHETTO, order your self the Real Thing

take a picture of your truck with it on, and then use a paint or photoshop program to "delete" the extra bars. that should give you a decent idea of how it'll look. as long as you're handy with power tools of course

i was trying to do that, but the touch pad on my laptop makes it almost impossible.

that's awesome man. thanks for the work. i think i'm going to look at this a little closer and see if there's enough reinforcement for the rest of the grille to make this feasible. since i got a deal on the roush, if i screw it up, i can reuse my stock grille until i get a HD.

Hmmmm....

I like the original Roush better than either the modified version, or the HD.

In fact, I'd have gotten the Roush if it were available in black, but didn't feel like sanding and painting.

Your truck looks great as it is !

Peace,
Fish
