I was looking a the Recon tail lights and since I have a white truck with chrome style headlights, I was thinking of getting these chrome looking ones to match, but then again, I like the look of the red smoked ones too. What do you think? I'm on the fence here guys. BTW, they are both LED style.

 

That is a tough one, I would say chrome. I see some around here and they look good on light colored trucks. I gotta wait for them to make mine (flareside). I see Depo is now making them but I am brand loyal so it would have to be Recon, IPCW or Hella.

 

Red for sure. Ask anyone I know, I have great taste.

 

Another vote for the red ones. The chrome ones are waaay too flashy for my tastes.

 

I remember the new headlights you bought and I say the clear. Your heads are mostly clear with small amber refelctors, I think the clear/chrome tails would tie in nicely.

I like the red, but its true that the chrome would best match what you have up front....however- I am contradicting myself because I just put chrome lightning knock offs up front but black tails with the chrome back up reflector in the rears.

I dont think you can miss either way. You have done some cool things to your truck already

I like the red, the clear looks too "civic" for me. And I used to have very similar clear lights on my truck and outgrew them quickly. Let me know when you're ready to order if you have any questions.

I'm with red too Raptor.

Everytime I see one of those "clear" ones, I think, "Broken tailight". In my opinion, tailights should "look" red, even while not on.
