I know they are different vehicles but they both have the same 4R75E transmission. Wanted to see if I could put it off the 2013 E250 and plug it right into my 04 F150. I will also be changing out the TC and lines due to metal shavings being in the pan of the original tranny.

Has anyone done this kind of swap yet? Please any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Your 04 has a 4R75W, not 4R75E, essentially the same. I think the 2013 trans can be made to work as long as the transmissions are the same length, but it's not a direct interchange. There may be some electronic differences.

 

The 04 was made with both the 4R75W and the 4R75E according to the Ford website and the transmission identifier tool.

My transmission has two sensors on it so it must be the 4R75E.
