would it be the same process for an Expedition? I want to do this too, but don't if I should black out or white out my heads.

I've wonder that myself. I'd do it to the stocker, but I'm worried I'll melt the wires and connectors in the headlight. Need to find a cheap one to try it on. BTW, don't know if you know, but if you want stock black ones, look for the "Off road" package headlights. It seems all the Limited Expys have those lights.

You can kinnda see the wires in this pic.

Guess it would go much better with mine. My trim is black, the Expy is white, and I have a black and white Ford overlay.

It's not just a reflector, it's also where the turn signal is at. Wouldn't want to darken that too much, though a little wouldn't hurt.

They look good. Re-seal them with silicon though, and smoke the fogs lightly, enough to blend it in but enough to tell its a fog lamp and still shines well, and the taillamps however you want. I'm going to smoke my tails and brake light and have a shop clearcoat them for me to make them gloss like the body.

Here's the back of mine. Tails have 2 coats of Nite Shades, 3rd brake light has one. I probably could have done a little better on the clear coat.

BTW, if you go to rockauto.com, you can get the black headlights for 60 each, plus shipping (which I think is like 10 bucks) for Economy quality. I really don't know the differences between the qualities, but I'd guess that these lights would have more OEM quality than ebay lights.
