If you're hooking it up to the trailer tow hookups then here is the diagram for the 7-pin and the 4-pin hookups. If youre not then im not sure on the answer. Thank you to SSCULLY for the pic and hope he doesnt mind my using of it.
Hope you can read the colours better than i can. Theyre the initials incase you havent figured it out already.

I am having the same problem with the travel pin. How do you remove it? Thanks.

Never mind. I have it figured out. I actually left the travel pin in. I just notched out the fire and ice bar so the pin gets by.

Did you figure out how to remove the travel pin? I am having the same problem however I am not able to notch the bar because it is hitting the clear part that contains the LED's. I am thinking of sawing part of the pin off if it is not a threaded piece. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

i think you need a star bit to remove the pin. you'll see the shape at the bottom of the pin.

which way did you mount the bar? I mounted mine with the leds towards the bottom bottom. they kind of rest on that little lip under the tailgate. i'll try to get you a pic in a few min.

I'll haven't looked at the bottom of the pin. Do you know if it is threaded in where someone could take say visegrips and remove it? Mounted mine like you did but thought I was as close as I could get to that lip but ended up still not clearing the pin when you go to open the tailgate. I can open the tailgate about 10 degrees and the pin hits the clear part that contains the LEDs. If it had hit the flat black piece I could have notched it probably like you were able to do. I will have to remove or cut down the pin in order to use my gate with no problems.

I just helped my lil' bro wire his L.O.F. (without reverse lights) up to his tail lights. Here's how we wired it up: White = ground, 2nd wire=running lights (you can connect it to either brake light, but put it on the wire with the least voltage), the next 2 wires are turn signals (they go to the brake lights that have the most voltage and blink with the turn signals). You have to run a separate wire over to the other turn signal though. Hope that helps.
