To remove the tailgate, it's nice to have two people. First you lower the gate, then disconnect the cables (they just slip off when you push down the metal tab). Then, at about a 45 degree angle the right hand side hinge should just pull straight off, then when that is off, pull the tailgate to the right and it will slide off the pin on the left. It takes 5 minutes at the most.

EDIT: Also, the liner shouldn't be a problem.

If anyone is looking for the Line of Fire light bar for a good price.

Amazon.com has the 60" with white reverse for $86.99 (REC-26416) - free shipping.

I believe it's coming from the same company that is on Ebay right now selling the light bars.

Just passing along some info.

FYI: I just received a catalog from Moss Motors (www.f150store.com) in the mail today and they have cut the price on the Line of Fire LED to $39.95 and you can get the Fire and Ice LED bar (the one with reverse lights) for $79.95.

$14.95 is not bad for shipping. I bought mine thru stylin concepts and was charged $20.50 shipping due to it being "oversized".

I do not think there is a need to remove the tailgate, I just put mine on this weekend and I was able to push the "stick pads" down tight to the back of the bed by coming up from under the bumper working between the bumper and the back of the tailgate. Just have someone help you start from one edge and then go across to the other side. Just be careful it is straight all the way across I had my one end try to hang down and not be level with the rest of the led so I had to take that end off and then press it back down.

Stylin Concepts has a free shipping coupon available most of the time.
