Just have someone help you start from one edge and then go across to the other side. Just be careful it is straight all the way across I had my one end try to hang down and not be level with the rest of the led so I had to take that end off and then press it back down.
I took my tailgate off to use sheet metal screws to secure the Line of Fire, in AZ the summer temperatures reach 120+, I don't think the sticky pads would have lasted a month in that condition.

We need to start a thread asking others about their experience with Moss Motors. I ordered 6 items last month and 2 of them were not what they claimed to be...I almost ordered the line of fire..... glad I held off

Travel pin??

I did my White Lightning LOF tonight. What is the consensus on the tail gate pin? How many of you guys removed it? I think it looks like crap with that pin sitting in the corner blocking some of the lights.

Same thing happend to me, but i still ended up installing the stupid thing and for a while it worked fine. Then GOD decided to finally let it rain in Miami and it got fogged up and broke. I was livid !!! I called moss to ask if maybe they had sent me the wrong one by mistake anyway and the guy had someone run down to the warehouse to check and he told me "yes they are supposed to be three pieces" I complained about the instructions showing it as a one piece unit. Im returning mine too !!

Yeah it should be raining for a while thankfully. Dont know about you but these water restrictions are killing me! Phase III my **** ! Let me know how the LED works out for you. It took me about 25 min for the three piece to install, but the one piece should take no more than half that time.

The Mystery is over - Tailgate pin

I figured out what the tailgate pin is for!!!

The reason it's only on the right side is that it's made to assist you in pulling off the tailgate.

The right side you pull off first then rest it (the tailgate) on the rear bumper sitting on the pin to give you room not to pinch your fingers while you pull the left side of the gate off. That's it!

No other purpose so if you want to pull it off go for it.
