i have been trying to decide on what to get first halo projector headlights or a stainless steel billet grill. on the halos do the bulbs inside the halo light up or do juss the halo? and has anyone ordered a grille off ebay and installed with no problems or were directions very poor? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The halo's will come on when you turn on the parking lights, then the bulb inside will come on when you turn on the headlights. The projector light is your high beam. I ordered my billet grill on Ebay and it was an easy install, but mine is an overlay. It uses zip ties to hold it in place. I've heard from others who bought the replacement grills that it's a little more difficult, even if the instuctions say no cutting or drilling required.

Before you order the HID kit, make sure the lights you want will work with the HID's. Mine said not to use them. Probably has something to do with the heat. There was another post about whether or not to use black halo lights on a white truck that also had black wheels and a dark tint. I wasn't sure about it but others thought it would look great. Here's a link to that thread.

I've been looking for replacement headlights for a while, and the one thing I am finding is that the HID kits do not work with the aftermarket HALO headlights. At least on the 2004-2006 your headlight high low is one bulb, and the Halo headlights change that to two seperate bulbs.

Curious, I was looking at those lights today, did they install easy? Any tips or suggestions on better way to install them?

Sweet headlights. I'm curious about the deatils as well. Easy to install? Cost? Where did you get them?

I have a SS Tube grill on my truck that I got on e-bay and I've been really pleased with it. It was an overlay design and I didn't like the way it looked with the old grill under it so I cut the old grill apart and painted the shell black and then installed the tube grill over it. I really like the way it looks now. Let me know if you want more details. I can give lots of info/pics if you want.--DIY

Ebay. There's a bunch of them there and I payed around 100 bucks. If you buy through a retail store you'll pay twice as much. The installation was tricky but not too difficult. Hard part is getting them aimed right. What a PITA!
