Are these what you're talking about? I'm not sure if you can use HID's in them. I think mine said you couldn't, but they're bright anyway. Found them on Ebay.

I prefer the one piece units myself, and the LED's along the bottom. If you search through these forums you'll find more info and pics on these lights.

Hey adt,

How do you think the black lights that you have would look on a white 02 Expy with full tinted windows?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in my response. I thought about what you said about how black lights would look on your white Expy. I'm thinking the black would stand out too much with the white exterior. If you were able to find lights with white housings, that would be cool or just go with chrome. From what I've seen, chrome looks best with white. The Corvettes have color matching light housings on them and they real nice.

black lights look good on white or silver cars. This is my room mates Camaro SS with black lights/rims

Id say go for it, but id look for the ones without the LEDS in em. The best black ones ive seen, look just like the Lightning lights (like i have) but are black instead of chrome housing.

Thanks guys,

Still undecided on this, I almost think the black would look better than the chromies though.

Well, opinions are like a--holes, everyone's got one. So I'll share mine with you. Opinion that is. If it's stock, it's boring. There are many different styles to choose from. Find one that you like and who cares what anybody else thinks.

What bulb size do they run? May have some good options for bulbs unlike the stockers.
