New Grille

i juss bought a new stainless steel grille off of ebay and was wounderin if anyone has any tips on installing it...its a replacement grille.........thnx

what year is the truck, thats a good place to start. And if its an 99-03 grill, and you dont want it anymore id love to take it off your hands.

open your hood, remove headlights and corners. corner lights should have a small screw under the corner of hood opening. remove clips on the radiator valence, remove the few clips if any on the underside of the grill, once the whole grill assembly is out, the grill should be just cliped in, it kinda gets tricky just work it out slowly and carefully.

you can also refer to the thread in my sig about my painted grill, there are pics and a little better directions there.

also the hardest parts in pulling the stock grill out, the hardest part is safely pulling those things out of the black plastic shield below the headlights, and sticking your arm dowm to push down the clamps keeping the bottom grill frame supported. Then unclip the grill, put your new one in, if its a billet grill, not too sure how, i got pissed off and gave up & spent $130 & had it pro installed, I'm glad i did though, its in solid and perfectly lined up
