Bought an '04 SCREW 5.4, looking for advice

Hey all,

I'm back in the F150 club with an '04 SCREW 5.4L with 68,000 on the clock.

Other than the HELLISH spark plug change I've been reading about are there any other concerns I should have?

My plan is to change the oil, tranny fluid, rear diff oil, spark plugs and wires over the next couple of weekends.

Any thing else I should be looking for?

Thanks for the advice.

No spark plug wires on your engine, it has a coil on top of each plug.

Flush your cooling system.

I bought my 05 SCREW with 68K miles on it so I can relate. I have around 93k now.

Front ball joints like to go. I did mine around 75k. I replaced with the Moog which can be greased.

Only other thing I had to do (other then what you mentioned plugs etc) was the 4WD solenoid which is behind the battery. That was a $30-40 fix.
