Yet another information gap on Ford.com and the internet in general: Does the 2015 Ford F-150 have the ambient lighting color controls that I've been seeing on the internet for older models? "Ambient Lighting" is listed as "standard" on both Platinum and Lariat now, but I don't know if that means it has that cool color option in the 2015 Lariat (seems like it was Platinum-only for a while).

Anyone with pics/quick explanation of how it works? Again, I've seen it for everything _but_ a 2015 F-150.

 

Yeah the 2015's have it. I've got it in my lariat. Pretty cool feature.

 

My wife's Limited Explorer has it. Pretty cool and you can change the colors. I think it is built into the nav screen for opting different colors and not all that intuitive for me since I don't drive the rig much. Set and forget for me.

Yes, it is included. I have it in my 15 Lariat.

To get to it you have to press the settings tab on the home screen of the center console touchscreen.
Then you hit the vehicle tab, and its the first tab under that.

Mine is red at the moment it's a very nice added touch , my 14 mustang changed like 9 different colors I haven't messed with the controls to see what colors are on the truck, good to see someone's figured it out lol so many buttons to press in there lmao

My wife just said that looks like a strip club. My reaction:
1. How exactly do you know what a strip club looks like inside?
2. First time ever strippers ruined anything. Now I can only set that color when she's not around.

HAHAHA, thats so funny. I would be thinking the same thing to myself Thanks. I have to see what other colors are on there I forget to check everytime until im driving and I guess you cant do it while " vehicle is motion". I could on my mustang tho
