13' f150 Groaning behind dash??

13' f150 ecoboost, s crew, longbox, 4x4, xlt, 165,000km, no mods, i am noticing a groaning sound behind the dash on the passengers side now that its getting cooler in the mornings, the colder the truck is the louder the groan is, once the truck warms up past 195 the groan basically goes away, the groan is only around 1000-1200 rpm and usually from leaving a complete stop, it does not seem to render any performance but hopeful i can catch a problem before it gets worse, anyone have any ideas or delt with this before??

It might be the brake vacuum unit making noises.

A groaning vacuum pump is a known issue with the Ecoboost. If yours is mechanical it's not too expensive, but if it's electrical it's quite pricey.

Ok, do you happen to know the location of the pump? is the groan something i should fix right away or is it just a noise it will make?

No problem.

I think I saw on Rockauto them for ~$73 or so. Just a FYI.

And as always... good luck!
