How Much Would You Pay For This 2012

Ok, sorry this is not an F-150, its a F-250 but after reading one of the current threads about buying trucks on here, I saw people saying they got 8-9k or more off their trucks!!!

Now I found this truck and it is exactly what I want. It stickers at $45,640.

Here's the window sticker

http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...7X2B65CEB60874

Sent them an E-mail and this is the E-mail I got back

The MSRP on this vehicle is:............................................... .............. $45,640
Factory-to-consumer discount/rebate incentive is:......................$3,000*
Your Gene Messer special internet discount is:.............................$2,191 **
Transport Cost: .............................................$700

Your Internet Price is:...........................................$41, 149 plus t.t.l. ***

Should I do it? Should I wait till October to see if any new rebates pop up?
Thanks!

Bad link....You could always check edmunds.com and see what other people for are paying and the invoice price then go from there.

Ask them to email you a copy of the invoice. If the dealer won't, then don't buy from them. I just bought a truck a month ago, and almost all of them were more than happy to email it to me. Then you will know for sure what is a good deal. A good deal being around $100-200 over their invoice cost. This should be very easy to get on a '12. Always work from invoice, not MSRP.

That transport cost is bogus - the sticker price includes destination and delivery.

They are only giving you $2200 off a 46k sticker then adding $700 back on for "additional dealer profit". Bend over! There's $3500 profit PLUS holdback in that thing at sticker.

Invoice on that vehicle is $42092. Offer them $42k less all rebates (do your homework on these!) and don't pay any more than $42500 less all rebates (plus TTL and a REASONABLE doc fee - no more than $150). Edmunds says the True Market Value of that truck is $42209 in my Zip code.

My 2012 FX2 stickered at $41,300 and I bought it for $29,800. You should pay way less than $40,000.

Sorry I wasnt more clear, the truck is located in Texas and Im in Arizona so the extra $700 charge shown on the price write up would be to deliver the truck to me here in Phoenix... I wont be paying that anyways so that wont need to be factored in. I will flying there to see the truck in person before I pay for it and I will be driving it home.

So on Edmunds.com I got an Invooice price of $42,100 for the truck. I think I should be paying at least a few hundred dollars UNDER invoice. then I will also be taking off the $3,000 in rebates and incentives.

I asked the guy to send me the dealer invoice sheet with all of the X,A,D,-Plans and he said he was forbidden by his company to do that.....

Do you know how much under invoice you paid?

Did you get some huge incentives?

I just dont see how I can get this truck for much more than $700-800 under invoice, but if everyone says its possible, I will keep trying. By the way it Invoiced for $42,100

So I figure best I could do is $41,500-ish and then tack on the $3,000 in rebates and incentives.... so end up at $38,500 plus TTL.

Nice work. Damn I wish I could get a deal like that. The rebates just arent their for the Superdutys.

Ive been told there is only $2,000 in available rebates for me by the dealers here in town but this one is Texas says the rebates are $3,000 so I will make sure I get that in writing before I fly there so no matter what they will have to honor it. The current rebates are all good till October 1st so Im thinking I should wait till then and when the new rebates come out. There shoouldnt be any chance of them getting worse, only better, right?

A dealer here is advertising 2012 Super Crew F250 4x4s for $32000. Deals have to be out there on the 2012s.

Why don't you start talking to local dealers and see if one of them would give you a proper deal, dealer trade for it?

The problem is there are almost zero SuperCab trucks on the lots. The dealers only seem to stock their lots with the crew cabs.

So since I want something other than the norm, I have to go trolling the internet lol. Anyways, just got off the phone with the Texas guy and he told me there is no way they would even consider going down to invoice for the sale

invoice - all rebates. They still make holdback (if it hasn't expired). Then max $75 doc fee.

Too bad you don't have Ford stock - you could use X-plan.
