I'm kinda out of options as far as any other trucks so I'm still gonna try to get this one. After the new rebates and incentives come out on October 1st I'll give that dealership another car and I'll just talk to a normal lot salesman and see if I can get some legit deal.
Not gonna change. It's also going to show that dealer how badly you want it. if you really want that truck call another dealer local to that one and tell them you want that truck and are willing to fly out to buy it if they will make a deal with you.

why not order one?

edit: another option, call ford and they will do a vehicle search country wide if need be for what you want. I think when I had them do that I talked to the lady in rebates department as I was trying to find out which rebates i was able to receive since dealers were giving me varying amounts.

Dealers have invoices printed saying exactly what the dealer wants it to say.

Demanding to see an invoice is demanding to see any PDF document, these days.

When I was a new vehicle dispatcher, back in the early 70's, there would be at least 3 copies of "Dealer Invoices" included with every new unit shipped.

All copies had different prices on the options, vehicle, etc.

When I bought my truck, the whole deal was done through email. I did finally talk to them do give them a deposit though. I was shocked how many dealers were very willing to work on deals through email. It was great, no haggling bs or waiting on site. Easiest and smoothest purchase ever! Drove there, truck was ready, paperwork in 30min, and out the door!
Do you mind saying what dealership you went with? I live just outside of Springfield too & neither Ford dealer really impresses me. One acts as a buy here pay here sort of place while the other is definitely proud of what is in stock. Am sure you can figure out which is which.
