Has anyone seen an all red third brake light for the 09+? LED preferred but, regular bulb will work too...

 

So... I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that none of the 80'ish people checking this one has seen one of these things...

 

I know one of 96 people checking this who hasn't ..... me.

Make it two. There's not much of a selection for them in any color.

 

I've been looking for the same with no luck either. I want to get rid of all three chrome brake lights. If nothing turns up soon for the third brake light I believe I'm going to buy one of the clear led eBay one with some Red Nite Shades paint I saw at Advance.

I'm hoping it will look good with the Red led tail lights that are on eBay also because the factory chrome pieces stick out too much for my liking against my candy red paint.

 

May be our only option... good to have *some* kind of an option though, I guess....

 

I'll add this to the list of things I have never even though about doing. I'm guessing you are wanting to turn the clear cargo lights into red. Is it just an appearance thing or is there a benefit I'm overlooking?

 

I want to go from stock look of all clear/chrome with only the small red brake light section to a mostly red lens and leave only the two cargo light sections clear.

 

Gotcha, I could see how on a red or blue truck this might stand out. I have a gray Platinum so the trim flows with the rest of the truck.
