I bet the halogen projectors will be custom-order or higher trim level only option. But I wonder why halogen projectors and not bi-xenon?

The new headlamps will be xenon (HID) but not bi-xenon (HID).

This is the reasoning I found on another forum...

single xenon has a much crisper cut off and the best beam pattern of all the headlights available for our cars.

The bi-xenon is not as crisp, I have the S4 bi-xenons which are fairly similar and they aren't crisp, they look more foggy and smooth not sharp.

each headlight housing has its pros and cons. the bi xenon have a greater light dissipation but the single xenons have a really condensed light beam.

either way youll be happy

I have not run bi, but single xenon e-codes are fantastic, they give a very wide and sharp light output.

so single is the way to go im sorry i have no experience with this as my car came with stock bixenon

I ran ecode bi-xenons for 3 years. Switched to ecode single-xenons in 2007. To my eyes the single-xenon's low beam is better. Although I do miss the bi-xenon feature... 2-3 times a year.

Same here. went from OEM single to ecode bixenon then to ecode single. the single by far has the best cutoff. I also saw some yellowish tinting on the edges of the cuttoff when I ran 6k bulbs with the bixenons.

yes, looks like new XLT wheels, almost look like the current 18" chrome clad wheels without the cladding, but slightly different.

It's a Lariat Limited. pickuptrucks.com has more details: http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2012/05...0-limited.html

The new lights are a separate item.

In my opinion, on only Harley and Limited do I see HID being standard equipment, and maybe Platinum. King Ranch and Lariat - definite option. FX - maybe if you option it a certain way like with the Luxury Package. XLT and below, forget about it - gotta order from the parts catalog or get them used.

Another Find from FRF,,,, Randy is the man over there!! He is also an amazing person to buy from if anyone is tired of dealer BS like I was! I can't say enough about what a great contact he is for everyone outside of ford like us, and What a great ford rep he is for sales. A true asset all around It's too bad he doesn't have the time to frequent the F150 forums too.

Up here in Canada we get the block heater & battery blanket as standard equipment as I did on my 2010 FX-4. Most new ones here seem to have them installed.

Thanks, figured it was due to geography. Since I'm in Oregon, I just need the anti-moss option.
