anyone bring their truck truck to the track?

Guys, I just brought my 2010 xlt 2wd supercrew with a 4.6 3 valve to the track. I ran a 15.86 and a 15.99 at 86 mph. I was just wondering if any of you have and what did you run?

After buying my 2009 STX 4x4 used last fall, took it to a local track during a test-and-tune event to get a bone-stock baseline .....
  • Best ¼ mile time was 16.2. *Worst was 16.3.
  • Best ¼ mile MPH was 86.9.
  • Best reaction time was .25. *I blame it on the drive-by-wire throttle body.
Didn't think it was too shabby given ...
  • 3.55 RAR open
  • 6025Lbs w/driver.
NOTE: Full tank of gas - 36Gal. *Could lose another 120+lbs by having only ½ tank. Would/should be good for -1/10 Sec.
  • 17.1MPG for the 123.5 mile round-trip + 3laps.
Made 3 passes ...
  • Drove around the water-box.
  • 4x2 *2wheel drive - high.
  • AdvanceTrac -OFF- a.k.a. traction control.
  • Tow/Haul -ON- MEANING: O/D -OFF-
  • A/C / Defrost -OFF-

My bone stock 5.0 fox-body coupe ran 14.6 many years ago. The fact that your truck is just over a second slower is pretty impressive...

Figure a 14.5-14.9 secs for a stock crewcab 4x4 ecoboost. With a tune,intake and exhaust maybe a 14.0?

For a 6.2 F150 crewcab 4x4 14.5-14.8 secs. With a tune and intake maybe a 14.0 as well?

This is my guess for the trucks and times are in the quarter mile.

I think your being a little optimistic considering Pickups.com best time was 14.67 with a 2wd scab. http://link.brightcove.com/services/...d=645408400001

So do I, yet I don't know how they launched or elevation. I am going off of 3,000ft elevation for those times in 4hi with brake boosting.

Milan Raceway ; elevation 600' so I am guessing you would be over 15 with your setup at 3000ft. I live at 3000ft and I can tell you 600ft is like a world of difference for going fast.
