Actual Price Paid for FX4 EcoBoost?

Hi guys, fist post. I'm a regular over at raptorforumz. I ordered a 2011 Raptor back on 11/13 and the order is still in the "order processing" phase with no hopes of a VIN or build date anytime soon. I've gotten aggravated and am considering other options.

Earlier I was looking at FX4 prices on TrueCar. I tried to load it up similar to how I ordered the Raptor, (Lux, Nav, Raptor Plus). The options and packages are a little more complicated than on the Raptor because there are way more choices with the standard F150 line, so I'm not sure that I picked the right things. But, it came out to around $44,000 as a "great" price. Is that accurate. If so holy crap! That is nearly the exact same price as the Raptor. I was expecting it to be 5 to 8 K less than that. Maybe ones bought off the lot can be purchased for quite a bit cheaper?? I guess if I have to pay 44K for an FX4 I'll keep waiting forever for the Raptor.... Thoughts?

thanks in advance

That site is not accurate. Just wait for the Raptor if that is what you want.

That is exactly what my fx4 came out to 44,095 for a 2011 and I paid 38,2.

When I did build and price on an ecoboost FX4 fully loaded with 4.10 axles it was right about 48k. Even with A-plan I'd still be looking above 40k.

Thanks everyone for the replies. This is what I was expecting. Seems like you should be able to get one for 35-38 which is what I was expecting.

I do want the Raptor, but the EcoBoost is mighty appealing and the ordering process for the Raptor has been complete crap. I'm going to give it another couple of weeks to see if a VIN comes in, then I'm headed to the lot to test drive an FX4.

I'm sorry I should have paid more attention to what you said. Mine is a 5.0. But the figures I said are correct. Fx4 screw, luxury pack, 20's upgraded stereo, sunroof.

Wow you guys are paying a lot. I took advantage of the year end sale on 2010s. My truck listed at $39,300 and I paid $28,500 after all discounts, rebates, and X-plan. A 2011 with the 5.0L would had been $4,000 more, and the Ecoboost another $750 on that.

I'm at the price I wanted to be at. Later I'll add skid plates. Never needed a locker, LS always did the job so I didn't want the FX4. BTW, do they use Rancho shocks on the FX4? Ford basically says it's all the same hardware on the FX4 and XLT, FX4 just gets locker and hill assistance along with some features and options that are geared towards luxury, not off road.

No worries, your info was close enough. I think it's only a $750 difference. That's beans when you're talking about 44K....

I was thinking the same thing. My FX4 was priced at 43K MSRP and I paid 31K out the door. It is fully loaded except Nav and sun roof. The best time to buy is year end sales at the end of the month.

My ecoboost was stickered at $45,300

I paid $39,00 for it and that was including dealer fees and taxes w/ trade in.
