Based on payload #: 5.0L is 100lbs heavier than EB and as I said earlier 6.2L is 170lbs heavier than EB.

Also it says max tow is late availability with Harley?!? Really...

What a joke. They boosted the payload some more on the Supercrew to 1900 pounds, but never touched the GVWR. Doesn't do a darn thing for us trailer haulers as I am sure the axle ratings will stay the same. Oh well... still I guess it's time to get my order in.

 

Did you see the 20" FX4 wheels? It looks like they took away the nice 20" wheels and replaced them with the 20" FX2 painted wheels.

The FX4 grille is also getting an update. That needed a change.

I don't love:
- the small fuel tank on EcoBoost. What a downer!!!
- heavy duty payload package still only on XL and XLT

 

Oh I didn't know the FX2 had 20" wheels. Have to look up some pics. I prefer the 09-10... so far.

Payload didn't change. Thats max payload from which weight of options will be deducted.

I agree re the axles.

 

They want us to go up to a Super Duty for the higher payload and towing. But the Super Duty is more expensive and we miss out on everything that is great about the F-150: styling, interior, ride, price, etc. They don't want us to have it all!

 

Hmm now I need to see pics of the 20"s on real FX2...

 

I think I know what the new FX4 grille is. It's the same grille that is on the 2010 FX2 now. Right?
