What's interesting is the 2011 E-Series vans are getting HD radio. Will the 2011 F-150? I hope so.

I would like to see the TPS intergrated into the info center. So that if the low tire light comes on you can pull up a display of all 4 tires and see how much air is in each of them, so that you would know if it is a major problem or just off a pound or two and can wait till you reach a service station or if its going down fast.

GM has had this in there trucks for a number of years now. From what I have seen of the info center in the Super Duty, it tells you alot of BS about a trailer but can't do something really usefull like check your tire pressure on the truck.

I wonder what it would take to get the new 5.0L in the F150 to match with it is making in the Mustang, 412HP.....not sure of the Torque numbers. But since the platform is the same....I imagine it wouldn't take much.

Edit: Never mind....390Ft-lb on the mustang.......but still 412Hp compared to 360Hp......

An ecoboost 5.0 should do the trick for HP and torque.

I think Im going to save my cash for a '11 Race Red STX Supercab 4x4 with the 5.0.... plus im fairly certain that the aftermarket will lean more towards performance parts for the 5.0, 6.2, and 3.7... That 5.0 is already a beast in the new stangs. I feel like a kid that saw his parents wrapping the christmas presents.. haha.
How long have the 5.0's been in the stangs? I'm really wondering about the reliability. I am about to buy a F150 after Toyota buys back my lemon POS and I am scared about buying something with a first year motor.

The 5.0 has been in the Mustang for 6 months or less. Ford has reworked it for the F150. The poster above is clueless about the ecoboost as the ecoboost will have more hp and torque than the 5.0 and probably slightly below that of the new 6.2

All three engines are new- take your pick.

With less than a week until Ford releases the rest of the numbers for the new engines, is anybody else getting a bit giddy?
