Looks good, but I would have just hooked them up to the existing cargo light so you didn't have to put in the switch. It keeps your dash looking cleaner and one less switch you have to hit to get light back there. This may be something I'll have to do if I ever get bored one afternoon. For $8 per side you can't really go wrong.

Curious, what is the easiest way to power the bed lights. Do I need to run my own wires and where is the best conduit to do so?

I already had a fuse panel installed that I hooked it up too. As posted above you could also just splice into the cargo lights.

I made a How-To post on the other forum called "Recon Bed Light Install Guidelines" which might help with connecting bed lamps to the cargo light. You're looking for a gray wire with a purple stripe inside the driver's kick panel.

Unless things have changed, which I haven't checked yet, when you roll up to turn the cargo light on, it will also turn on the inside dome light. There are times that I would rather be able to turn on the cargo light to check the cargo while going down the road, and with the dome light on also it sometimes makes it tough to see.

I'd rather have this seperate switch.
