Are you talking the 11-02-05 ABS module for traction control, or is there a different one, more current?

I'm assuming the traction control problem you had was the TC stammering and kicking it on turning and hitting bumps?

What was the fix name when you went to the dealership, so I don't have to explain it to them... They are kinda dumb at our dealership, and assume no one knows what their talking about.

my dealership is dumb as well. i just went in and stated that my traction control was turning on and off intermittently when it shouldnt over small bumps on dry pavement. they just updated and reflashed the ABS module i assume.

Was your traction control symbol actually coming on in the dash?

Yeah, it would start flashing if I hit a bump just right or if I hit one turning.

I had a small mishap the other day that I am going to chalk up to the same problem. While turning on an offramp, (it is an uphill offramp, and a continious right turn), I was doing aproximately 50 mph. The guy in front of me braked rather hard, so I tapped my binders a little hard, and the truck, well, ....... acted retarded. It more or less killed all power, and groaned a little. It almost scared me, and caught me really off guard. Since the level, and bigger tires, this is the only time it has done this. It was also the only time I have taken that paticular off ramp, in that direction. I didn't notice whether the TCS lamp flashed or not, as I was more concerned with WTF was happening to me in traffic. Sound at all familiar with what you experienced before the update Marsh?

well the other option is to get a handheld tuner, like an SCT3. you can completely turn off the whole traction control system in the computer.
