VLEDs is terrible

I will never order from vLEDs again! They sent the wrong order to me 2 weeks ago and still have not recieved the correct one. In addition, half of the correct order is still backordered. They promised a tracking number for the first order replacement and I still havent received it. This company is a joke. Plenty of better ones to order from. I'm eneding up having to go through my credit card company to resolve things with vLEDs. AVOID!!

vLEDs sent all my stuff in a timely manner and everything was correct. I didn't try to buy anything that was backordered though.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience. This is actually surprising to hear...I don't want to sound insensitive to your situation but you might be the first person I've heard that has had an issue with them. I hear nothing but raving fans when it comes to VLEDs...that being said, no company is perfect 100% of the time. I personally and recently had an awesome experience with VLEDs over multiple orders and exchanges(my fault). They even gave me a discount and credited back my PayPal account when I made a purchase a couple days before they posted an online discount code...They had no obligation to credit me that money other than I thought it would be good customer service...they responded in kind and in turn i feel rather obligated to defend/support them.

Hope it works out in the end for you...

X2. I've made multiple purchases from them, including back orders, with no problems.

Nope, VLEDs was very responsive and quickly shipped all of my orders. It was the most easy and pain free purchase I have made in a long time.

Agreed, they make a world of difference for little money. I had them in my 06 XLT and transferred them to my 09 Lariat after my 06 got totalled by some moron who rear-ended me at 50mph while I was stopped at a traffic light. I bought mine at superbrightleds.com, here's what I got:

BTW, my Lariat is a Supercab with a sunroof...

2 Map lights- WLED-CWHP6
1 Dome light- 4210-CWHP6
2 License plate- WLED-WHP

All three interior lights are equal in brightness and have a whiteish-blueish hue. When you change the map lights make sure you don't push the LED's all the way in (I blew a fuse). I recommend installing them while the OE lights are lit (wear gloves, those OE lights get hot!) and push the new LED in until it lights up. Remember, if you push them in and they don't light try pulling them back out and turning them 180 degrees. Hope this helps.

Hi all,

I just did the exact same install as Stompy did in my 2010 FX-4 SC. The lights are great and well worth the $$$$. The removal of the housings is a PITA, but if you go slow and be careful it can be done without damage.

I like the LED lights so much better than stock that I am going to do an install for the glove box and the center console..which...BTW...Thanks Ford!!! don't have any lights at all to start with...

Take care

JJ

Haha. X2. Every vehicle I've ever driven has had a glovebox light. I know that because its too easy to leave the glovebox open and kill the battery.

So I threw in the LED's today for the map lights and dome light. I also ordered a set of LED's for the vanity lights. They are tiny little bulbs and I am having a tough time trying to get them out.

I have pulled out the vanity mirror and have access to the bulb, but the holder that the bulb is inside is difficult to allow access for removal of the bulb.

Anyone have any tips or tricks on how they have removed theirs?

I have the blue and it is difficult to see or read anything at night if the passenger is trying to look for something.

I think I will change it to the white.
