No problem.
Are you sure you can't order them now? Most of the time you can order stuff that is on backorder and still use the coupon, then it's shipped out when it's back in stock.

Yeah I could order now and wait. I just wanted to do all the lights at once. I guess I could do the map lights and then wait for the dome lights.

Did anyone whose orders are on backorder ship yet? What's the status? I checked the V-LEDs site and the products still note that they will be available on or before 20 Jan. Just checking in to see what's up.

Well they haven't updated their site but they sent me an email today saying everything should ship out in 48 hrs. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy some new LED interior lights by this weekend.

Just got another update from them...now they expect the lights to come in by sometime next week...we'll see. I might go elsewhere and just my money back for these.

Has anyone changed out the license plate lights? I ordered 194's, and they fit the connection, but are physically too big to fit

This is what I have installed. Just have to make sure you get the LED's facing out.

Hey Guys I've read this entire post...but am a bit confused as to what lights to get for some specific areas of my 2010 Platinum F150.

At this point...I understand my front map lights will be replaced by these:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/G...-p6638587.html

I put in a rear TV/DVD player that has it's own lights...so I'm fine with the back.

Could someone please tell me which exact lights to get for:
1 - Vanity Lights
2 - Rear Cargo Lights
3 - Reverse lights
4 - License plate lights
5 - Down lights that are mounted under the side mirrors.

I'd appreciate any help! I want to keep my lights bright white...not blue/white!

Thanks,
Kirk

so, after reading 9 pages of this i made the plunge bought em... this is what i bought since someone will ask:

HID 6K WHITE HIGH POWER 4 LED FESTOON DOME BULB 211 212 6413 6429 578 (rear)

V-LEDS 5K WHITE 194 13 LED LIGHT BULBS 158 168 2825 (front map)

opened the mail box last night as i came home from work, ripped open the package, looked up at the map lights, with both hands on both sides of the sunglass holders i pulled down.. hard... "POP!" off it came un plugged the power flipped it over poped off the white plastic via two small push clips pulled out old bulbs, put in the v-leds pluged power back in... noticed that one was not on... pulled and flipped around 180 deg and pluged power back in and yea it worked! pushed map light and sunglass holder back into place and then drove around back to my garage... yes i did this in the street in front of my mail box with out even putting the truck in park... it really is that easy!

for the back, well shouldnt need to explain as all you do is put a flat head in the slot and pry, the clear lens cover pops off and is that easy... only did one led in back.. dont want to be driving and one of the kids turn on a map light with the leds in them... they are bright! so i just did the main dome light.

done for under $30
