I'm not saying that the other manufacturers offer better trucks. But they do seem to be listening to what their consumer base is saying more than Ford is.

I've had my '04 since Oct of '03 and I still detail it every weekend. It gets hand waxed 3 times a year (by me) and is very well maintained. I wouldn't do all this if I didn't love my truck. But I'm a realist. I know that this truck will not last forever. I tend to buy a new vehicle every 7-10 years. Earlier if they cause problems. Ford's release of the new F150 concerns me because they seem not to be listening to what the consumer wants.

First the 08 Super Duty and now this

Its a disgrace
We seem to be in the minority, but yes, the 09 f150 is awful. The transportation function is fine, but it sure is ugly inside and out.

according to Ford themselves, this 2009 f-150 is what the Consumer wanted. Ford said they listened to us. Ford said people wanted a Superduty look on th F-150, and Ford gave it to us. I like it, a lot

A lot of these guys negative reactions you can simply ignore because they either have an old truck that is broken down and they are jealous, or they just spend $40k on a truck that is already outdated. Ugly inside and out? Please.

What's your stake in this? Is Ford paying you royalties to promote it? The way your reacting to the handful of us that don't like it one would think you designed and built it. The truck is ugly, all Ford had to do was put the stacked headlights on, and the ugly would be complete. The Super Duties are ugly too. They look like Ford built them, ran them into a brick wall, then shipped them out for sale.

I don't like the direction Ford is taking with their trucks. They're taking what have traditionally been the best looking trucks on the market, and turning them into rolling ugly. Get over yourself Rambo, because we're not going to change our opinion because you don't like it.

I know Stealth and a couple other regulars are not in this position, but usually those who have the most negative things to say about the new body style are the ones who could never afford a new truck anyways...

Personally the dash is busy with all those buttons, and I cant wait for grill kits because I find the grill ugly... Other than that it is a beautiful truck I cant wait to own. I am going to let the new motors come out and prove themselves for a year or so then I'm off to pick up mine. FX4 in black please with Leather.

LOL. This is so whiny. Really, if you don't like it that much, just order the Dodge already.
