Fuse # for dome light?

Can't find anything in my manual that's listed the fuse number for the dome light. Anyone know which it is?

Tried some different LEDs up there and they blew a fuse.

Edit: thanks to autocorrect for changing "dome" to "some" in the title. Helpful.

Edit 2: seems editing the title doesn't work.

Figured it out, was actually 21.

Figured that out when I went to drive the truck and had no gauges. So, 21 goes to gauges (not back light), odometer, memory, key chime, dome light, map lights and cargo light.

Weird, I had an led in my dome previously (the one on the right) and installed the one on the left (5630 chips) and it blew the fuse. Anyone know why that would happen?

Interesting... I ran across another thread saying for a 2006 it is F15, for a 2008 SC it is F24, and it looks like yours is F21.

Just marvelous!

Same here. I did a search on Google before posting and came across f15, f24 and possibly f25.

Nothing in the manual says anything about the dome light, map lights or cargo lights. That's why I didn't figure it out until I saw I had no gauges. That gave me something else to look for.

Anyway, still weird that the new led would blow it.

Probably defective (shorted).
So, 21 goes to gauges (not back light), odometer, memory, key chime, dome light, map lights and cargo light.
The circuit is a bit more complicated...

F21 doesn't supply any of the interior lights directly. It only supplies ALWAYS HOT power to the cluster.

In order for the switches to be able to turn on the interior lights, that portion of the circuit is run off F24 via the battery saver relay which must be energized by the instrument cluster's logic. If the cluster does not operate, neither will any of the accessories connected to the battery saver relay.

Now, the cluster also outputs a PWM power feed for the interior (and a few other) lights for the "theater lighting" effect. That circuit is likely sourced from the F21 power feed, feeding those lights in a bit of an indirect manner.

If f21 supplies always hot power to the cluster, why would the dome light have blown that? And why wouldn't the dome light work after if it doesn't go to that fuse?

Sorry, I'm a little confused.

It's complicated as I noted above.

Yeah, I went back and looked at the circuit closer, then added corrected/new information as my initial post was seriously lacking in detail....
