Leveled truck with 35's on 18" rims

Does anyone have pictures of their ford leveled with 35s on 18 rims? I'm think of going from 32' to 35 but am worried of rubbing and having any other problems??? Thanks!

Probably depends if you're 4x4 or 2wd and what size level you'd be getting. You need to add a little more info.

If you're 2wd, I think you'd probably need a 3" level for them to fit. However, that 3" level is really not recommended and will stress and wear out your front end parts quickly.

If you're 4wd, they sit a little higher stock. I've read of many people fitting 35s with a 2"-2.5" level. The amount of rub depends on the back spacing though.

I have a 4x4, 5.4L and thinking of 2.5" leveling for the front. I know I may have to do some cutting but if that's all I'll have to do that would be fine

I think you'd only need to do some trimming on maybe the fender liner and the plastic valence under the front bumper.

If a mod sees this, maybe move it to the wheel and tire section to get more replies.

I have a 04 4x4 with 35s it's not leveled and I trimmed the bottom corner of the flares. It rubs and full turn on the fender well liner. I have the a 2.5 level kit just have not had the time to install it.
So you should not have a problem unless you do some hard off roading then they may hit something.
Not leveled
The angle of second pic make it look closer that it actually is.

Nice truck!! Yeah I figured it would be close but that makes me feel a lot better since I have a leveling kit on the front and you were able to clear at stock. So I shouldn't have to do too much cutting if any. I appreciate the help!!

Thanks.
How wide of a rim and back spacing will also make a difference.

I rub my mud flaps a tad when turning. Not annoying enough to trim.

You don't have any rubbing on metal or anything? Any plastic I can cut no problem and if that's all I have to do that would be awesome. I just don't want to be rubbing metal or anything major.

It's really going to depend on your rim and tire choice. A wide rim with a low backspacing is going to cause a lot more problems than a rim with specs similar to the stock one.

Just a like an extremely aggressive m/t tire that measures pretty wide will cause more problems than a street tread tire that's narrow.

If you really want to know what kind of problems you'll have, post the wheel specs and tire specs that you plan to use. Everything else is just guesses until those are known.

My rims are Rockstar XD's 18x9 and I'm looking at putting Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 305/70R18 on.

A zero offset with 35s will most likely rub a bit. But at least it isn't a very negative offset. The more the height of the tire the better it clears if it is tucked in. Can't tuck in a 12.5" tire though, maybe an 11.5". I have 296/60-20s which are 34x12. I find it to be the perfect size for a leveled F150 4wd. With +18 wheels they cleared fine. With Bora spacers making it a -12 to -18 offset they ended up rubbing the lower cabin side portion of the wheel wells. So it's all in the offset. Bigger the tire and more it sticks out, the worse it will rub. You may need just a little bit of plastic trimming.

If all I have to do is trim a little plastic then that would be no big deal. I really appreciate your help! It's my first time on this forum and it's good to have guys like you help out a newbie ha. Thanks again!
