Question Wearing out new tires too quick need HELP!!

First off I'm new and so far love the site. Anyway I have an 04 F150 lariat 4"suspention lift 3" body. I have 35x12.5R18 Nittio Mud Grapplers. I have had all ball joints, CV shafts, and tie rods replaced, I have gotten my truck aligned 2 times in the past 4 months and my new tires (less then 2500 mi) are still showing significant wear on the inside of the tires! And yes I have rotated them! Please help guys I can't afford new tires again!

Thanks
FarmBoy

If they are still wearing on the inside, then the are not properly aligned.

Mud Grappler is not known to last long, but that is way too young of miles to see any wear at all. How much psi cold are you running?

Contact Nitto on what PSI you should be running. They told me 41psi for mine.

My aunt bought a Toyota a couple years ago that was having the same problem. She got it aligned replaced some things got the tires rotated ETC... Turned out her shop was aligning her truck wrong and that was what had been causing the excessive wear. Also has your truck been in any wrecks or anything?

If your tires are overinflated it could also cause wearing on the inside of the tire. Check with Nitto about pressure recommendations.

It will not cause it to wear on the inside of the tread. It will cause it to wear in the center of the tread if overinflated.

For your tires 40 should be plenty. They are LT LR E tires with a max 65 psi. Max load is 3400lbs at 65, so 40 should definitely be enough for your vehicle. Maybe 45 if fully loaded or towing.

you need an alignment rack capable of ifs front suspension (which is just about all these days).

ask for a print out of the specs before and after (toe, camber, caster). any reputable shop should be able to provide this.

wear on the inside is camber. are the edges of the tread blocks on the outside "rounding off" or do they seem sharp still?

rounding off is an indicator of toe, meaning both of your tires are not pointing straight ahead at the same time.

the wear on the inside of the tire is negative camber.

make sure you verify this with a print out from an alignment rack, then correct both of them.
