Well a walk around the ford dealership got me another truck

Decided to drive over to the local ford house and take a look to see what preowned vehicles they had.. Found this real nice almost mint 07 FX2 and fell in love with it.. Its white with the black interior with red striping on the seats.50,000 miles.. So 2 hours later I went back up and signed the papers on it.. Will pick it up tomorrow morning..

I liked my 07 but that darn 4.6 liter had no ***** at all.. I could barely pull a 5x10 metal trailer with a four wheeler on it. So decided to get back to the 5.4. I drove the truck a good 30 miles popped the hood and there are no signs of the cam phaser tick..

Over all very excited too get the new truck tomorrow..

I ended up paying 4200 otd with the fx2. PRetty fair deal I think

Here are a couple pics I snapped tonite of it.

You're buying up trucks like a woman buys purses. Oooooh shiney!

congrats tho.
The 4.6 in the heavier 04-08 is IMO equivalent to the V6 in the 97-03 as far as power to weight.
The white will be nice in the summer (if you still have the truck)
And finally when you get around to wanting to do the plugs LMK if you need a hand

3200 OTD is pretty good if that included TTL, which I'd bet is around 1k on that truck

It was 4200 out the door. I was on my phone when I typed it..

I am keeping this truck for a long while.. Heck I kept the KR for almost 5 years..If the 07 4.6 would've had a 5.4 I would've kept it, since im back to the leather and the big v8 im going to keep this one for a pretty long while..

I will need a hand on the plugs ... Im thinking about changing them around 75,000 miles.

Nice! It's funny how I see fx2's so frequently on here but in person I've only ever seen 3. No lie, those are rare as hell out here

That's because most of them are is the south in warmer climates.. Here on the east coast where we are and with the winters we get there's mostly 4x4's

Naturally but it's so funny because I always wonder if the people out here even know they exist

I do think people enjoy the fx package though because I see quite a few fx4's fully loaded and a few with the appearance package.

Running boards are coming off asap. Other than that some 25 percent tint on the front and she will be good to go.
