Angry Don't buy from TascaParts if you need something on time

Since I can't get a response on my order from Tasca I'm going to give my opinion of there company so everyone will know to shop with caution if you really need something from them in a timely manner.

I ordered a full set of lash adjusters for my 2005 5.4L. I was told it would be 2-3 days before they would ship. I followed up the next week and they said they had changed the system and had basically misplaced my order electronically somehow. I had paid for 2nd day air shipping because I needed the parts quickly. They said they had fixed my order and it would be at there place and shipped by the following Monday. They agreed to upgrade the shipping to overnight since they had already delayed my shipment for more than a week.

Well now Monday has come and gone. Called there number 20 times today with no answer, left two messages and never got a call back to update me on the status of my order#(28151009). At this point I have to go purchase the parts from somewhere else that I can trust to deliver on time without a screw up.

I'm filling a complaint with the BBB tomorrow morning. I suspect I will findout their not even a member with service like this. Moral of the storry is pay a few dollars more at your local dealer or a parts providor you trust. There is a reason there prices are great. They sacrificed the service and dependability.

Wow that's unfortunate. I've never had a problem with their shipping.

That is unfortunate, I have had nothing but superior service from them. It's understandable though given the volume of orders they receive and try to stay on top of. That said, I don't think it warrants a complaint to the BBB, every business has a hick-up in service once in a while.....

They gotta take the bad with the good when they deserve it

Doesn't seem like I have any other option with them since they don't answer the phone or return my voicemails. If they weren't going to deliver they shouldn't have taken my order. I needed the parts not a wild goose chase.
I know they have a presense on this website and I ordered from them based on the postive feedback I had seen from other users here. So it's only fair that when they don't hold up there end of the bargain they receive the feedback so others like me can make an infomed choice of where to spend our money and time.

You might have had a bad experience but I will stand up and say that I have had NOTHING but praise for the guys at Tasca. Great service, great communication and best of all, great prices. Although I feel for you and your situation, your two posts don't hold any water for me.

Good luck.

Same here...never a problem. In fact, they're one of the few companies I never think twice about dealing with. Everbody makes mistakes...I'm sure they'll make good on your deal. Time to move on

I have already moved on, I'm ordering the parts from another vendor. I'm glad all here have had great service from them, unfortunately I didn't; even though that was my expectation when I ordered from them. Hopefully they will return my call or answer the phone someday so I can cancel my order. I'll keeping bumping this post for the next couple weeks just so others will see it. They cost me time and money so if even a few people take notice and they loose any business over it I will have some satisfaction at least. I'm sure they won't even notice. Small customers like myself are obviously not a priority with them.

I always received very prompt replies to my questions and my Tow Mirrors arrived at their destination much faster then they said it would ... I would NOT hesitate to order from them again ....

Looks like you registered here and your fist post was to complaint about tasca ford .... Things fall through craks sometimes ....

Give me a break ! I only ordered a pair of tow mirrors from them, and I had maybe 20-30 questions answered by them, always courteous, always on time ... I am sure 260 dollars qualifies me as a small customer ...

I have to ask do you have an agenda ?

I have given up ordering from Tasca. On my previous two orders, they charged my CC and then I got a phone call from them saying that the pricing on their site was outdated and that I had to pay more to get the items. After a very heated debate about that, I have sworn never to purchase from them again. Lucky for me, Tousley Ford Parts website is very similarly priced, plus shipping from MN to WI is much cheaper than from Tasca.

The OP's situation is probably the exception, and sucks if you're in that situation.

I have had varying results with Tasca, but have always got my parts in the end. The only real issue I have is their communication, it can be lacking sometimes, but I think that may be partially due to MY expectations. We all have some sort of expectation, and variations in those expectations make our opinions of customer service subjective.

With that said, I'm sure I will order from them again.

I have ordered from Tasca on several occasions without any problems, but I did have a similar experience as the OP with my last order from them, which had to do with shipping. Finally got the issue resolved, but not until I after I posted a rant about it here on the boards. That being said, I got got a quick response from Josh over there as he does frequent this site and he fixed everything for me, got my parts with a refund for the shipping charges, and made me a happy customer, to which I will be ordering from them again in the future. What I found out as far as my glitch with the shipping is, that it is better to order something online from their site rather than calling them and dealing with someone over the phone, I am not too impressed with the guys working the "counter". Josh on the other hand is a great guy to deal with!

I have ordered from TASCA 2-3 times.....no problem here. I usually just use their standard or cheapest shipping option.

I am planning another order....... just trying to get all items ID'd before I complete the order.

A TIP ........ when I order from Tasca I usually include an air filter or 2 as well as a fuel filter since their price is almost 1/2 at the dealership.
